Are you pressured with deadlines or you experience pressure at work or school? You have Family problems, can’t find a job, debts are getting bigger…
When your organism is often in such situations, the nervous system starts losing balance. You experience sleep loss, increased blood pressure, heart problems, problems with the digestive system or migraines. That is just the beginning. Stress is the biggest factor for all contemporary in today’s life.

What do you need to do to more easily deal with stress?

Because these disorders don’t depend on your will, the only thing that could be done is to try to remove the reasons causing them. In stressful situations, you need to avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol. Sleep is extremely useful because during sleep the nervous system regenerates.

The following are some steps for relaxation that may help you deal with stress.

Results may vary from person to person. What works for some people, does not work for others.

  1. Take a couple of deep breaths to lower frustration and distress. Try to breathe slowly and feel your belly rising while inhaling and lowering while exhaling (diaphragm breathing). Lift your shoulders upwards, lower them down and relax them. Repeat 4-5 times and take a couple more deep breaths.
  2. Try and overcome the nervous straining. Massage your stress causing muscles. They are a group of muscles that during stress suddenly tense up and cause excretion of adrenaline. They are located on the back side of the neck and in the upper part of the back. Massage them continuously for 2-5 minutes, for the straining to go away.
  3. Don’t grind your teeth. Move your jaw left and right to relax the muscles.
  4. Herbs are also a great way for dealing with stress. Teases with relaxing effect have the best result, such as Thyme, honey, lavender, linden or lemon balm. Eating onion can help too

Natural remedies against stress

If you are stressed, valerian tea might help you, but if you don’t like it’s little bitter taste, you can take it as pills or drops or with honey. For regenerating of the nervous system, oats are very helpful.
