Home Remedies For Wrinkles

We can’t prevent the occurrence of wrinkles, but we can slow down their appearance. They are a normal process in our life. If you have a healthy lifestyle, you don’t drink a lot of alcohol, don’t smoke and don’t sit or lie in the sun to make your skin darker you may slow down the appearance of wrinkles.

Nature remedies against wrinkles

Results may vary from person to person. What works for some people, does not work for others.

1.Rosemary is a powerful and refreshing treatment for wrinkles. You can drink rosemary tea or use it as a spice. To prepare tea, you need two tablespoonfuls of dried leaves and 250 mg water. Boil the water and add the dry rosemary’s leaves. After five minutes strain the liquid through a sieve into a cup.

You should not drink rosemary tea or use it as spice if you are under 18  years old if you have ulcerative colitis, high blood pressure or ulcers. Rosemary could interfere with drugs which control diabetes.

Be sure to consult your doctor if you are taking Plavix, Coumadin, or Aspirin or any other type of blood thinner.

2.Sage is also efficient against wrinkles, and you can use it as a spice in the food or tea. To prepare tea, you need two tablespoonfuls of dried leaves of sage and 250 mg water. Boil the water and add the dry sage’s leaves. After five minutes strain the liquid through a sieve into a cup. Sage is considered as safe. However, interferes with the absorption of iron when used internally. Don’t use sage during pregnancy and nursing. Avoid sage if you have seizure disorders. This plant is toxic when taken in excess or for extended periods.

3.Carrots are rich in vitamin A and contain beta carotene. The lack of vitamin A leads to dry skin and wrinkles. Beta-carotene protects the skin from cancer. You should take carrots every day in the form of juice, fresh or cooked in your meals.

4.You can also use cucumber to prevent wrinkles. Put a mask of thin slices of cucumber or blended cucumber on the face and the neck regularly. Wash your face after 15-30 minutes.

5.If you want to look fresh for some special event try the next recipe:

Cook 200g of barley in 1 liter of water until the barley softens. Strain and blend it. Put the mask on the face and let it stay for 20 min. Then drink a glass of barley juice. Repeat three times a day.
