Detox is a process of cleansing the body. With detoxification, you will improve your overall health, and your organism will develop а certain immunity against diseases. You will eliminate toxins from your body, and you will grow the efficiency of the digestive system. The detox program increases the action of the liver and the kidneys, the primary organs of detoxification. It will improve mood and inner harmony and will help you sleep better. Before you start with cleansing your body, you will have to consult with your doctor, if you want to detox your body in the right way. Children, pregnant and breastfeeding women, people with chronic diseases, people under 60 and people who are recovering from operations or illness should not detox unless their doctor says otherwise.
Don’t be afraid if you feel colds, fever or skin spots. These are the signs that your body is fighting against some bacteria that are attacking your organism, and it is trying to throw off an accumulation of toxins. At the beginning of the detox program, your skin will become dull or spotty. Don’t panic. The skin will become apparent soon after it.
When should you start with detoxification?

The signs that you are intolerant to a particular food are food cravings or headaches after withdrawing that food from your diet.

You must add healthier ingredients in your meal before you start with a detox program. That means that you have to eliminate all the fat, sugar-laden comfort foods, the processed and refined food from your cupboards. In this way, you will not be able to violate your detoxification program. Then you have to buy healthy food for your detoxification. Before you start, try to find new recipes and make a plan for eating during your cleansing.
Prepare your body
You must prepare your body before you start with detox if you have some nutritionally deficient or some stressful condition. At least two weeks before you start with the program you have to:
- Avoid alcohol
- Reduce caffeine and carbohydrates
- Start exercising
- Drink more water
- Eat more fruit and vegetables
In this way, you will reduce the risk of experiencing the unpleasant side effects such as tiredness and headaches.
When you start with your detox, you have to avoid
You should avoid milk, butter, butter oil, cheese, cream and other milk products. As a substitute, you can use Soya, rice, coconut, oat milk, Soya, rice and tofu cheeses, Soya cream or yogurt.
You have to include in your program baked products, cereals, and pasta made with rye, oats, barley corn and rice grains instead of their wheat equivalents. If you have gluten intolerance, you have to adopt gluten-free living and avoid all sources of gluten permanently.
Chocolate, Coffee, Tea, and every other product that contain caffeine
Caffeine is diuretic and prevents your body from absorbing vitamins and minerals.
Ready meals which contain additives and food with lots of salt and sugar
Avoid this kind of food entirely during detoxification.
Avoid red meat and substitute it with soy, eggs, and oily fish.
How to conduct the Detox Program
1 During your cleansing, you have to eat fresh and unprocessed food, unsalted nuts and seeds, a lot of food and vegetables and you have to drink a lot of water and fresh juices and tea rich in antioxidants as Green tea.
2 When preparing your meal to try to cook your food as little as possible.Use cold press oil and pepper.
3 You must take daily nutritious from food and supplements. You don’t have to wore out your body and organism.
4 You have to drink a hot water mixed with the juice of half a lemon first thing in the morning.
5 Eat a minimum three meals daily.
6 Drink a lot of water every day (6-8 cups)
7 Eat a clove of garlic in your food
We recommend you to visit your doctor or nutritionist who will help you with daily meals. I did a detox which was perfect for me. But I went to a nutritionist and checked my blood and blood pressure every week. She gave me a weekly menu, that included meals for every day of the week. I felt perfect and I was full of energy. I have completely changed my nutrition habit after that. I have changed my eating habit after I detoxed my organism. You can do the same.
