It is a beautiful Monday morning. You are 100% prepared for the budget meeting and you are sure your co-workers are too. The children dress themselves for school without complaint, and their homework, shoes, and backpacks are exactly where they should be. The radio announces, no traffic delays. Then it happens. You wake up.
The truth is, getting your family out the door with everything they need is a major project. Your two-year-old is finger painting with her fruit juice, and she is doing it on your budget report. One kid cannot find his gym shoes and the other is crying because she can’t get her hair straight enough. As you push everyone to the mini-van, a clap of thunder crashes overhead and before you can say “umbrella” the bottom seems to fall out of the sky. This is life. Life is the perfect storm. It is a wonderful mixture of stress, bliss, laughter, tears, and unexpected. You cannot stop it and it would be pretty boring if you could. But, you can experience it without the stress that causes you to lose your ability to take things as they come and enjoy the crazy and funny stuff that just happens.
People seem to have a hard time letting go of stress. It affects you, and everyone around you. It even affects your health. Try to relieve stress with healthy drinks
