It is a form of treatment that has been gaining popularity over the last decade, but Aromatherapy is still a new concept to many. The practice of using essential oils to facilitate healing can only complement the effects of modern medicine and help relieve the symptoms of a disorder much faster. Here are a few reasons why you should consider essential oils as part of your treatment:

Essential oils have been used to reduce dandruff, acne, itching, inflammation, rashes, and other skin related disorders.

Unlike most conventional treatments, essential oils can be used by children and even pets. Some necessary precautions should be taken by pregnant women or people with asthmatic or epileptic conditions, but other than that, aromatherapy is as safe as a treatment could be. It is, however, advisable to use the recommended amounts and not to ingest these oils orally.
